When we talk about today’s modern era of rappers the diversity has reached its peak. We can hear lyrical rappers, new wave trap stars & a thousand more variants. M1TCH however has seemingly created his own religion of rap. Going along with this new HipHop wave doesn’t mean the lyrics don’t have to mean nothing. Metaphors, calmly delivered punchlines & absurd humor is accompanied by the nastiest 808’s, futuristic synths & more. This while being able to produce & mix his own records feels like a certain recipe for destruction.

In the summer of 2013 a young Mitchelangelo became very much into HipHop & rap, he was obsessed by the likes of 50 Cent, The Black Eyed Peas, Wiz Khalifa & Eminem. He started writing his own lyrics at the age of 10 & never quit. On the age of 15 he surprised his whole school with a performance at a Talent Show. From that moment he has been releasing music & working on his craft on a daily basis.

May the 808’s destroy all speakers.

Yung MC

In the creating & recording of their songs, most artists use professional recording studio’s with the newest equipment & tools. Because of the digitalization of this current era, it has been “easier” to record a viral track and share this on different music platforms without being signed to a major record label. The only must have gadgets are a microphone and a laptop with a DAW of choice.

This is how a new decade has been born, the bedroom rapper decade.

In 2018, a rapper named Yung MC was born. MC is a humble ambitious rapper who started off by rapping in his bedroom with influences like XXXTENTACION and Mac Miller. He discovered Hip-Hop through his love for the basketball culture at a young age. In this period he heard the finest Hip-Hop playing through the speakers. From old school to new school, from Biggie Smalls to Kendrick Lamar.

With original texts and events from his personal life, he expresses what he has experienced or what he thinks about different matters.

If you are curious about his music, you can find his songs on most music platforms.
